CES Day 1: Roundup

The first day of CES started off with a bang! Introducing incredible products that will live in tech history for years to come. Here is a roundup of the best things that we saw yesterday.

Gaming

Razer’s Fiona

This is probably the most unique product we’ve seen so far at CES. Razer’s Project Fiona is the first real gaming tablet. It’s a 10.1 inch screen, with two single handed controllers attached to each side. You hold the device almost like a steering wheel. The tablet runs Windows 8 and plays full on, legit PC games. The games demoed were Assassins Creed, Minecraft and other various PC games. The Fiona also packs an amazing Ivy Bridge i7 processor (!) Razer says that the Fiona will be released for “Under $1000” by the end of the year, Q3 or Q4. After Windows 8 is released!

PS Vita to AT&T
The long awaited Playstation Vita, the quad-core hand held monster is going to be released on AT&T in Febuary for $249.99. AT&T will sell the Vita contract free but allow the user to go on a pay-as-you-go plan, just like what we see on the iPad 3G. The two plans are a 250MB data plan for $14.99 and a 2GB plan for $25. At the end of the keynote, the speaker also said that “It’ll be even better when it gets LTE.” Maybe just a slip, or maybe not.. Hmm..
Mobile
AT&T Lumia 900
The long awaited LTE Windows Phone has arrived, to AT&T that is. The Nokia Lumia 900 is the very first LTE Windows Phone in the world right now. It sports a 1.6GHz single core processor, a 4.3 inch display, and the gorgeous Nokia body we love. AT&T is picking up the LTE train really fast, as it just launched LTE in New York a few weeks ago.
AT&T Galaxy Note
Even though this wasn’t much of a surprise, it was still nice to be confirmed, the AT&T band Galaxy Note is heading over with LTE sometime soon. This massive 5.3 inch screen phone/tablet may not even fit in your pocket, but it’s still a very nice device
